Frasers Group Plc engages in the retail of sporting goods. It manages a diversified portfolio of sports, fitness, premium lifestyle, and luxury fascia. The firm operates through the following segments: UK Sports Retail, Premium Lifestyle, European Retail, Rest of World Retail, and Wholesale & Licensing. The UK Sports Retail segment offers a range of sporting apparel, footwear and equipment. The Premium Lifestyle segment manages Flannels, House of Fraser, Jack Wills and Sofa.com fascias, along with Cruise and van mildert. The European Retail segment includes all the Group’s sports retail stores, management and operations in Europe including the Group’s European Distribution Centres in Belgium and Austria, as well as GAME Spain stores and Baltics online. The Rest of World Retail segment includes the results of U.S. based retail activities, Asia based retail activities, along with their e-commerce offerings. The Wholesale & Licensing segment includes the results of the Group’s portfolio of internationally recognised brands, such as Everlast, Karrimor, Lonsdale, and Slazenger The company was founded by Michael James Wallace Ashley in 1982 and is headquartered in Shirebrook, the United Kingdom.
