Braemar Plc engages in the knowledge and skill-based services to the shipping, marine, energy, offshore, and insurance industries. It operates through the following segments: Shipbroking, Financial, Logistics, and Engineering. The Shipbroking segment provides market access, operational support, strategic advice, and vessel valuation services to its clients. The Financial segment comprises the provision of corporate finance advice to shipping clients and finance providers to the shipping industry. The Logistics division includes the agency services in ports and the management of hubs for shipping clients. The Engineering segment administers energy consulting services. The company was founded on August 11, 1988 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.
