For all the tragedy and subsequent fallout of BP‘s (LSE: BP) Deepwater Horizon oil rig disaster that so derailed the energy giant back in 2010, the accident and the subsequent financial burden is not likely to be the biggest difference in determining which between in and rival Shell (LSE: RDSB) prospers the most in the future from here.
